Spiritual Capital

In the natural world, there is what we call capital and labor market in Economic. You are either in the capital market or in the labor market. The labor market are the people who do the physical aspect of work which includes implementation while those in the Capital market own the resources that is needed to get the work done like money. Those in the Capital market employ the people in the labor market to help them administer the capital. If you do not have access to capital you cannot get to the place of ownership and most times a lot of people cannot access capital and that is the reason they remain in the labor market. Those who get access to capital might have gotten it through relationships they have with people that have this capital. Same thing goes with spiritual matters. If you want to generate spiritual capital of things or resources in this world you need to step out and be more committed to God’s word and know the power that is contained in it.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it; Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, how soon is the fig tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them,

Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done (Matt 21vs. 19-21). Jesus spoke to the fig tree once and as far as He was concerned it was a done deal. He did not have to check on it again to see if what He said really happened.
Therefore, all that God requires of us is to speak to the mountain or problem and it will be moved. Jesus did not define how the manifestation was going to happen in His statement to the fig tree; He just said what He wanted to see. So it did not matter what the tree was doing, it made no difference; those words automatically changed the whole outcome of what the tree was at the moment. What Christ simply did in this situation was that He went to God and asked Him what was written concerning what was happening with the fig tree and He got the word that will bring about the needed change. And once Christ got the word He never for once checked to see if the fig tree did withered like He said it would. This is what interpretation does in the life of a believer.
When light enters into your heart through the revealing of a scripture about a particular thing you just have a solid assurance that it is a done deal. Christ was asked one time in the scripture where He got the authority to do all that He was able to do and He told them it is from heaven which was through prayer.

All you need to do when faced with a challenge in whatever area of your life, is to first of all look for the spiritual capital which can only be found in the word of God. Once you get the word all you need to do is to speak it to that mountain and the much needed result or solution will come out of it.

Pastor Chris Olugbenga insight on the Easter and the Resurrection of Christ

The Meaning of Easter

QUESTION: The meaning of Easter - What does it mean to you?

ANSWER:

The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ's victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all.

However, Easter did not always symbolize Christ's resurrection from the dead and the meaning of Easter was quite different than what Christians celebrate today. The feast day of Easter was originally a pagan celebration of renewal and rebirth. Celebrated in the early spring, it honored the pagan Saxon goddess Eastre. When the early missionaries converted the Saxons to Christianity, the holiday, since it fell around the same time as the traditional memorial of Christ's resurrection from the dead, was merged with the pagan celebration, and became know as Easter. The meaning of Easter was also changed to reflect its new Christian orientation.

Today, the meaning of Easter, for million of Christians, is that of honoring and recognizing Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe in Him.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? - We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.
