Plug In With Pastor Chris:God's Strength

2 Chronicles 16:8-10 New International Version (NIV)
8 Were not the Cushites and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of chariots and horsemen? Yet when you relied on the Lord, he delivered them into your hand. 9 For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

Most of us know what it takes to question God’s will.

There are times when it is natural for we human to ask God questions when His will is not in the way we expect; We often find ourselves questioning whether God even cares.

The love of God and God's strength reveals itself in countless ways to his people. Over and over again in the Bible, the Old Testament precisely gave recorded experiences of the Israelites’ journeys in and out of captivity, through deserts, wandering about and fighting brutal wars, one thing remains true throughout the narrative: God is committed to his chosen people, "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him". Along the way, they moan, complain, cry out, turn away, worship other gods, forget the Lord’s faithfulness, ignore his commands, forget his promises, and crumble beneath their fear of failure.

A personal experience of how God strengthens his people. I have been in this legal tussle with my leasing agents for a while now and I have been complaining about it to few people that can help out but each time we revisit the issue, it's like it gets worst and even bigger than what it was. So a few days ago, the matter sprung up again with another email from the leasing agent stating what the next actions will be and the legal penalties. After reading the email, I went to my car for a drive to converse with God about the issue and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Later that afternoon, I got a call from the leasing agent and she said "there's really no problems but I just want you to know that everything is fine", we resolved the issue.

When we look at the redemption story, from Genesis to Revelation, one thing is certain: God is for his people. This cannot be questioned. With the emotional and spiritual ups and downs of our walk with Christ, His promises for us is that "when you relied on the Lord, he delivered them into your hand".
